PASTRIES:The Greek Pastry Collection available this Christmas season from Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church will transport you across the boundaries of land and sea. Once you have tasted these pastries, they will remind you of a testament to the people and periods of cultures alive with romanticism and richness. Every holiday season for over 40 years, Greek Pastries, Greek Bread, Tyropita (cheese pies), and Spanakopita (spinach pies) have been sold at Holy Trinity to the people along the Coast of Mississippi. Although we aren't having the International Festival this year, we are proud to again offer a variety of tasty pastries and baked items for sale. You can order different pastries by the box (6 or 12 pieces), along with our special assortment boxes. In recent years we expanded the Greek pastry offerings to include treats from our members' Ukrainian and Russian cultures.ORDERS:Most items will sell out by the days of the sale, so you should pre-order (early) for the best chance to get what you want. You can pre-order ONLINE, by TELEPHONE, by MAIL, or DROP-OFF.ONLINE Orders can be placed at this link: WEB PASTRY ORDER FORM. This is the BEST method, as it puts the earliest possible date/timestamp on your order, and it reduces work for our volunteers. The Web Order Form method has more current information on available items and therefore is better than using the paper order form. The other ordering methods use pre-printed forms that don't reflect items that have sold out! We will STOP TAKING PRE-ORDERS on the Tuesday evening before the sale! We need time to put the orders together for pickup on the days of the sale. After that Tuesday, all orders will be considered walk-up orders, with the least availability of items! For the other methods, you can print out a blank form using this link: Pastry Order Form (pdf file) TELEPHONE Orders You can phone your order to one of our volunteers. Crystal at 256-390-8444 and Mikayla at 424-324-7286 can take orders between 5:00 and 9:00 pm, Monday through Saturday. This is the second best method, as they will note the date and time the order was placed, which will be earlier than if you mail or drop off your order. MAIL Orders can be sent to the P.O. box shown on the top right of the form. These orders will be marked with the date of mail pickup (only 2 or 3 times a week). We do not have a mailbox at the church address. DROP-OFF Orders by giving a completed order form to a parish member you may know or bringing it by the church during the fellowship hour after one of our Sunday services, - or - you can bring a completed form to the Church on one of the days of the sale (but risk the items you want being sold out!). ORDER PICKUP:On the days before the sale, pre-orders will be assembled, minus refrigerated items. On the pickup day you selected on the order form, the orders for that day will have been arranged for easy location by an order runner. If you are not modifying your order, you can use our drive-thru pickup service. When you drive into the parking lot, someone will take your name to confirm your order, let you know how much you owe, and dispatch a runner to bring your order out (adding any refrigerated or frozen items). You will be directed to turn around to come back to pay for and pick up your order. If you are modifying your order, you will be directed to parking in the back, to come and complete your order.
